Yes. We can deliver a Swedish transcript, an English translation, or both side by side. The same native transcriber produces the source text, and a separate qualified translator works from the original audio rather than from the transcript alone, which preserves meaning a text-only translation can miss.

Because joining or splitting two words changes what they mean, and the recording gives no acoustic signal for the boundary. Isof, Sweden's government language institute, documents exactly this: 'små kakor' means some small cakes, while 'småkakor' is a specific kind of biscuit. A transcript that gets the spacing wrong is not a stylistic slip, it states something different from what was said.

By judgement, not by rule of thumb. Isof's own language helpdesk gives 'skum tomte' (a suspicious tomte figure) against 'skumtomte' (a foam sweet), which even take different plural forms. We assign native Swedish transcribers who make that call correctly and a second linguist checks it against the recording before delivery.

There is no flat rate, because no two files take the same work. Runtime, recording quality, how many people are talking, your deadline and whether you also need an English version all move the figure. Upload is encrypted, the file goes to one named Swedish transcriber who has signed an NDA, and nothing is put through public speech-to-text services at any point. If you have your own confidentiality agreement we sign it, if you have retention rules we work to them, and if your policy says the audio goes once the transcript is approved, we delete it.
