State-of-the-art studios, all under one roof

GoLocalise has been a go-to voice over agency since 2008, and we custom-built our Stockwell premises with two top-tier recording studios on-site.

Our Project Managers and in-house sound engineers handle hundreds of projects a year — from TV commercials and audiobooks to video games and IVR. No need to juggle multiple suppliers for casting, studio hire, engineering and post-production: we handle it all.

Recording to picture or wild

Every project is different, so both studios record wild (untimed) or synced to picture. When you localise audiovisual content, timing is everything — a line that's short in one language can run twice as long in another, and audio that doesn't fit the original timing means costly re-edits later.

Our voice artists are skilled at timing their delivery to picture, keeping your localised audio in sync without losing a natural flow — getting it right the first time and saving you time and money.

Recording to picture also means fewer surprises in the edit. You see the words land against the visuals as they're captured, so lip movements, on-screen text and cue points all line up before the session ends — not after your editor has already started stitching the film together. Whether it's a tightly timed commercial or a feature-length dub, we lock the audio to the frame from the very first take.

It works across every format we handle, too — short social clips, TV spots, long-form documentaries, e-learning modules, video games and IVR. Just send us the picture, the script and any timing notes, and our engineers will set up the session so the read matches the frame, flag anything that won't fit before we hit record, and hand back audio that drops straight into your timeline with no reworking at your end.

Recordings and delivery, your way

We don't just hit record and send — we tailor every delivery to your workflow:

  • A single clean file per session, tidied with outtakes removed — usually within one business day.
  • Multiple files, labelled to your spec for seamless integration.
  • Voice over mixed with music or sound effects for a polished result.
  • A video version with the voice over synced to picture.
  • Or the raw, unedited audio straight after the session.

Files are delivered via a secure download link, ready whenever you are.

Can't make it in person? No problem

Even if you can't attend, you can trust us to run the session seamlessly — but your input on tone, pace and delivery is always valuable, even in a language you don't speak. Join our remote live monitoring to listen in and give real-time feedback from anywhere in the world. You stay in control, whether you're in the room or miles away.

Setup is effortless: we send you a secure link or dial you in via Source Connect or Zoom, so there's nothing to install and no technical hurdles to clear. You hear studio-quality audio as it's recorded, approve takes on the spot and request adjustments there and then — exactly as you would sitting beside the engineer. It's the same collaborative session, just without the commute.

Reach your audience with the right voice

With thousands of professional voice artists on our books, we have voices for every industry, style and audience — from a warm narrator to a high-energy commercial read or a character performance for games and animation. Need something very specific? If it isn't already in our roster, we'll source it for you.

Not sure which voice fits? Tell us about your brand, your audience and the feeling you're after, and your project manager will send a curated shortlist of demos to compare — no obligation and no guesswork. We can also arrange custom auditions against your own script, so you hear exactly how each option handles your words before you commit to a booking.

Your dedicated project manager

You'll have a dedicated, multilingual project manager from start to finish. They guide you through each step without the jargon, help you choose the right voice, and make sure your final files arrive on time in the format you need — so you only ever pay for what you actually need.

Because the same person owns your project end to end, nothing gets lost in handovers between casting, studio and post-production. They keep you updated at every milestone, flag anything that could affect timing or budget early, and stay a single email or phone call away. For teams recording regularly, that continuity means each new project runs faster and more smoothly than the last.

Studios built for great sound

Every detail matters. High-end soundproofing and top-tier equipment — Pro Tools HD and Neumann microphones — keep your recordings crystal clear, while our in-house engineers reduce retakes to save you time and budget. Working in a language you don't speak? We'll bring in a qualified language professional to guide the session. Plus fast Wi-Fi, air conditioning and the biggest cookie jar you've ever seen.

Because both rooms are built and maintained in-house, we control every link in the chain — from the acoustics and the signal path to the final master — so the sound you sign off in the studio is exactly what lands in your inbox. And with two rooms under one roof, we can run parallel sessions or scale from a single voice to a full multi-speaker cast without ever sending your project elsewhere.

Working with translation & production companies

A strong audiovisual partner makes all the difference. We work closely with translation and production companies to deliver flawless foreign-language and English voice overs, so you can offer voice over, subtitling and translation to your own clients with a partner you can rely on.

We provide translations and subtitles in any format — burned-in or After Effects-ready XML — with clear, step-by-step guidelines, or we handle everything end to end.

We're used to slotting into your process rather than imposing ours: white-label delivery, your naming conventions, your file specs and your deadlines. Whether you need an extra pair of hands for a single overflow project or a long-term production partner behind the scenes, your clients only ever see your brand — while we make sure the audio behind it is broadcast-ready.

Over the years we've become the studio behind agencies, dubbing houses and post-production teams across the UK and beyond, quietly handling the parts they'd rather not run in-house. You get access to our talent roster, our engineers and our project managers on demand, without carrying the overhead of a studio yourself — and with one accountable partner for casting, recording, editing and delivery, there's never any finger-pointing when a deadline is tight.

We’ve worked with the GoLocalise team on countless video projects and have always had the same consistent, great experience. Not only are they responsive and quick on turnaround, I can always trust the VO will be done right – they are always 100% clear with communication and ensure their talent is prepared to record by asking necessary questions upfront before recording. Highly recommended and will definitely work with them on future projects.
