Sesotho, also called Southern Sotho, is spoken natively by close to 8 million people across South Africa and Lesotho, where it is one of two official languages and the mother tongue of roughly 85% of the population.
Lesotho and South Africa use slightly different spelling conventions, and Sesotho should not be confused with the related but distinct Northern Sotho, so the right voice depends on which market you are targeting.
