Japanese eLearning voice over

Course narration has to be clear and patient in any language, but Japanese adds a register expectation: learners expect the polite desu/masu instructional tone, and a course that's too casual reads as unprofessional while one that's too stiff loses them. We cast and direct for that measured, approachable instructional register, and keep it consistent from the first screen to the last.

The script is the other Japanese-specific piece. Japanese mixes kanji, hiragana and katakana, and courses are dense with technical terms, product names and English terms kept in English — all of which have to be pronounced the same way in every module. We agree a pronunciation guide up front, work from your script with native speakers, and keep the same narrator across the course. For slides, we also handle the on-screen text, horizontal or vertical.

Then it's the production discipline every course needs: audio split per slide or screen, named to your structure and formatted for Storyline, Rise, Captivate or your LMS, paced for learning, with changed lines re-recorded by the same voice when content updates.
