Text-to-speech (TTS)
Text-to-speech is software that converts written text into spoken audio using a synthetic voice. It is helpful for accessibility and high-volume content, but does not match a professional human voice for brand, emotion and nuance.
It earns its place on content that changes constantly or is too large to record — in-product prompts, long reference libraries, draft versions for timing. For anything that carries the brand, it is a false economy.
