Dubbing is the post-production replacement of the voices on a film or video, most often to present it in a different language. It ranges from simple voice replacement to full lip-sync, where the new dialogue is matched to the actors’ mouth movements and timing.

Dubbing is standard for films, series and animation released in foreign markets, and calls for talent and directors who specialise in it.
