The 5 love languages
Words of affirmation – "I love you", "I am so thankful for you in my life", "You are the best" are good examples. Compliments, words of appreciation, and verbal encouragement are the common types.
Acts of service – "Actions speak louder than words!" This refers to a partner going out of their way for your benefit, such as making you breakfast or taking care of you when you're ill.
Gifts – receiving a gift chosen with your interests in mind, rather than the typical default present. Cost doesn't matter; the symbolism behind the gift makes it meaningful.
Quality time – giving attention to your loved one, prioritising them, and offering your undivided attention.
Physical touch – some people feel warmth and comfort through physical touch: a cuddle, a hug, or a kiss can make one feel loved and cherished.
