Spanish eLearning voice over

eLearning is the use-case where the Spanish variety decision bites hardest. A single course often has to serve learners from Mexico to Argentina, and a Castilian read — with its distinción and vosotros — sounds foreign to Latin American learners, while a strongly Mexican or Argentinian read flags one country. For pan-regional courses we default to neutral Latin American Spanish, accent-levelled so no learner feels it was made for someone else; for a course aimed at Spain, Castilian is what sounds native. We tell you which fits, and can record both from one script when your audiences differ.

The second thing that makes or breaks Spanish course audio is terminology. Technical vocabulary, product names and the English terms your industry keeps in English all have to be pronounced the same way in module 1 and module 40. We agree a pronunciation guide before recording and keep the same narrator across the whole course, so a learner never hears the same term said two ways.

The rest is production discipline: audio split per slide or screen and named to your structure, formatted for Storyline, Rise, Captivate or your LMS, at a pace a second-language learner can follow. When a module changes, we re-record just those lines with the same voice and level, so updates drop in cleanly instead of forcing a re-record of the whole course.
