Russian Video Game voice over

Russian-speaking players across Russia and the CIS are a big audience, and a discerning one — a flat or literal localisation gets called out, so a Russian dub is worth doing properly or not at all. We cast native Russian actors for the character, direct for the performance the scene needs, and treat the read as acting rather than translation.

The script is in Cyrillic, so anything on screen tied to the audio — subtitles, item names, HUD text — is set correctly, with Latin names and figures handled cleanly. Russian phrasing also tends to be more expansive than English, so for subtitled dialogue and any lip-synced scene we shape each line to the space it has rather than letting it sprawl.

Production-wise, we handle what makes a Russian dub actually shippable: one actor holding a character across months of recording, the breaths, grunts, effort sounds and death cries captured as their own assets, and every file labelled to whatever your build expects — Wwise, FMOD or a bespoke pipeline — so nothing has to be renamed by hand on the way in.
