How fast do you reply to a quote request?

Is the estimated range a real price?
It is worked out from the rates we publish on this site — £15 to £20 per minute for subtitling depending on language, £8 to £10 per minute for transcription, £0.145 to £0.25 per source word for translation, £60 to £180 per finished minute for dubbing, and the Basic Studio Fee plus usage model for voice over. So it is not a guess. But it is a guide, not a quote: the itemised figure comes back from a person who has looked at your actual file.
What does the estimate not include?
A tight turnaround, which affects the price and which we do not publish a figure for. Script translation and adaptation on a dubbing job. And the voice over usage fee for media we quote per project — cinema, radio and games among them — where an automatic number would be wrong more often than right. Each of those is named on screen rather than quietly left out.
Do I have to give my budget?
No. We never ask for it before showing you a figure, which is the wrong way round. Tell us the job, see the range, and then tell us if it does not fit — that is a much more useful conversation.
What if I do not know which service I need?
Pick "Not sure yet" and describe what you have. Most people arrive with a video and a list of countries rather than a service name, and working out whether that is subtitling, dubbing, voice over or all three is part of the job.
